"WISenvironmental provided crucial input in the commissioning and performance testing of the East London Waste Authority MBT facilities. In particular the Italian process contractor was experienced in commissioning, but not in the exacting audit standards generally required under a PFI contract. WISenvironmental were instrumental in developing a fully auditable commissioning framework and for training the process contractor in implementation.

WISenvironmental formalised the commissioning requirements and produced detailed procedures tailored to the individual sectors of the process. These procedures were used to demonstrate the quality of commissioning work as well as progress compared to programme.

After commissioning, WISenvironmental provided specialist advice during the development of the detailed performance test methodologies, and assisted in witnessing the individual tests".
